Its personnel was genuinely helpful and caring, nothing too much trouble.

Staff and food were lovely, we loved that everything was nice.

Second to none location and food, we appreciated this small hotel. Everything was good as expected, nevertheless the bathroom was a little tired.

The venue was brilliant, I enjoyed the stay and the location was perfect right by the Eskdale valley as well as Scafell. I was met by approaching and charming staff at the reception.

Super, tasty breakfasts with toast, the doggy sausages, beverages everyone can find something.

The location of the hotel was gorgeous - at a medium distance from Hardknott Roman Fort. I ate in the outdoor restaurant nearby. The food was exceptional and there were plenty of dishes in the menu. Their service was excellent.

Everything was perfectly fine, enjoyed our good stay. Our room was reasonably large, pet-friendly. This well-kept hotel was run by the efficient staff.

Super location, clean venue, briliant staff. A double room was reasonably priced and I enjoyed it. Wonderful breakfast with gorgeous products. The downstairs bar was fab and the drinks were bottled.

Perfect views, gorgeous design, lovely breakfast. I was in the perfect room, it was unique. There was extremely comfy bed, delightful staff. I enjoyed its top location just next door to Scafell, a nice forest. The fantastic service was provided in this attractive hotel.

Overall I liked that special hotel. The staff did all they can for a brilliant stay❤🙂😀

We really enjoyed our exceptional stay there a lot. Charming location plus good value. Staff appalling. And it also had unbelievable view. The breakfast which we had was unlimited. The hotel was immaculately clean and the stunning beach set near the property.

We enjoyed our time here. Comfy beds and welcoming service. Excellant cuisine. Thanks to everyone, especially bar staff. Room was comfortable and also had a bathtub.
